I grew up on rock n’ roll and soul.

My fondness for music has been a big part of my life, so as soon as I was able to, I started DJing at SCAD Radio. I spent my Friday nights as a freshman in the DJ booth instead of going out because I had so much fun dancing to new music alone at night on full blast. Throughout college, I've been able to meet so many awesome humans who share my same passion for music, and we’ve been able to create really cool content around Savannah's music scene. Here’s a taste of it.

Don't Silence Savannah

Don't Silence Savannah started while I was in Hong Kong with my home girl, Danielle Leonard as a reaction to the rapid decline of all ages venues closing down in Savannah, Georgia. We were outraged and upset and we wanted to do something about it even though we were 8,535 miles away. We decided to use the power of social media to convey a message, and this is the content we created around it!

Content for the campaign
To start the conversation, Danielle and I created sharable content for the campaign along with giving the message an identity. The awesome photographs were taken by Danielle Leonard and I wrote the copy and did the art direction, including hand painted typography.

User Generated Content
Friends were encouraged to share their reactions to Savannah's scene being silenced using the #SavDIY. Our friends shared their write ups with us, and we used our platform that got almost 700 likes 3 days in to spread the word.

Impact
Although Danielle and I were across the world, our efforts were recognized by Savannah locals. Our campaign was mentioned the local newspaper, Connect Savannah. :) <3 #TeamWork
